care to be taken
There are some precautions that should be taken, as we are dealing, above all, with natural products.
The choice and use of high quality materials means that simple care is enough to keep your shoes looking classic and natural, without much effort.
USEFUL TIPS TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR FOOTWEAR
1st
Brush your shoes lightly with a suitable brush to remove dust.
2nd
After each use, clean your shoes with a damp cloth to remove dirt and let them dry.
3rd
Apply, with a sponge or soft cotton cloth, a small amount of moisturizing cream.
You should apply the appropriate cream for each skin type, in the corresponding color, or, if you don't have one, apply a colorless cream.
4th
Place a wooden mold or a volume of paper equivalent to your foot inside your shoes, in order to maintain their shape and quality and reduce the formation of creases.
NOTE: different materials (Suede, Nubuck, Leather, Vegan) require a specific type of treatment:
– On materials such as leather (water-repellent calf), apply a waterproofing spray to keep your shoes protected from stains and rain. The application must be made at a distance of 20 cm from the surface and must be left to dry for several hours before using. This way, it is possible to create longer-lasting protection.
– Nubucks should be cleaned with a cloth slightly damp in hot water and soap.

It is known that the more Goodyear-Welted shoes are used, the more comfort they provide, as they adapt to the anatomy of the user's foot.
Therefore, there are golden rules to take into consideration.
Golden rules
Always use a shoehorn to avoid deforming your shoes and injuring your back.
If you use your shoes with great effort and sweat a lot, you must let them dry for at least 24 hours before putting them on again.
This way, the moisture will have time to be absorbed by the cork, present between the insole and the sole, and then evaporate.
This way, you can continue to enjoy the best comfort and durability of your shoes.
You should never dry your shoes with direct heat.
It should dry naturally over time, as direct heat damages natural skins.
Suede and Nubuck are delicate materials and, as such, avoid using these items in rainy weather or in situations where they could become stained.
If your shoes will be worn in the rain, place a shoe tray or newspapers inside and let them dry away from a heat source.
At the end of the day, place a wooden mold, or paper volume equivalent to the foot, inside the shoe, to help preserve its original shape, especially for those models that do not have an internal insole.
NOTE: Wooden lasts absorb moisture, maintain the handmade shape of the shoes and also remove
the odor of the feet.

The leather sole, as it is slowly tanned, is highly resistant to abrasion.
The rubber soles are made from virgin rubber and also wear slowly.
These characteristics make our soles highly durable.
If necessary, it is possible to completely replace the leather or rubber soles of our shoes , without altering their integrity.
This is only possible due to the construction type of our models, Goodyer Welted Construction .
